Hi ceilings give such a nice opportunity for the eye to venture pleasant distances. I always feel less claustrophobic,but there is less intimacy too, which a home needs. I think that your metal arch restores the intimacy of the interior and makes a welcoming segue.Any more detail probably would have too strong a contrast, just right, Lorrie.A little grinding will take care of those welds.As my grand daughter would say:"You're a good job(Lorrie)."
