symbol

I have seen variations of this symbol around as with so many symbols there are always multiple sources of their origin.. but mostly I have seen it as a celtic symbol called the triskelion
heres a blip from a website...

The central design, which we use on this site as a simplified logo, is a Celtic triple spiral, or triskelion (sometimes just called a "triskel"). A triskel is sometimes suggested to represent the Triple Goddess of the three ages of womanhood. It later came to represent the holy trinity in Christianity; God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Whatever its meaning, it is interesting that the motif is based around the number 3 - regarded as a highly auspicious number in many ancient cultures.

just googl image triskeli

Great work on the piece.. it looks sharp, the colors contrast well and I like the suspended nature of it
