. hi Lin I weld a small frame of 1/4x1/4 square rod to hold the glass -painting -cardboard and tap some holes to put some tabs to sandwich everything . ![]() backing

That would work, especially if you used turnbuckles instead of tabs. I did several large mirrors and used 1/4'' angle iron on 3 sides so I could drop in the glass and backing. Only problem with that was if someone turned the whole thing upside down. Lin |
