commemorative bowl

commemorative bowl

This is a commemorative bowl made for a client whose son had died,
the writing around the edge of the bowl is as follows
" whom shall i call each day opening the window that in winters past framed your playful commotion, whom shall i call without him coming"
The six hearts and the six acorns represent the family members. The acorn that is bent and wilting over symbolizes the family member who died, with the remaining members supporting.

Thank you very much for your

Thank you very much for your Beautiful comments Jan they are greatly appreciated, i am indeed very pleased with the work. I cannot however take credit for the writing around the bowl edge, I think this came from an Iranian Script if i remember correctly from the first meeting i had with the client.
It is very beautiful wording though.
