supporting glass table tops

Love your work the shape from the top is really nice. we have looked at glass tops for tables and always feel the fixings spoil the overall effect. Any suggestions from anyone on invisable fixings for glass?

Hi Curtis,
This is a great view with the star shape. What do you have between the steel and the glass. you can use clear bumpers or even put alittle clear silicon at the ends. Janet R.

I know, it really takes a way from the piece by having such lame spacers, it is temorary. I actually have to re-work this piece due to contamination behind the clear.
