Hello all,
Well it's been a long time since I've posted anything.
I felt guilty for upsetting the Forum.
I'll spare you you the guilt trip!
But this is my latest "INTEGRITY"
6' x 3' x 3' Mild Steel 18 with another Custom Paint Scheme.
I hope this time some of you might even reply to this post????

Lotta stuff going on in that picture, Chuck! I'm guessing that the "integrity" piece is the sculpture in the middle? If so, I really do like that one - nice feelings of completion and movement.

Hi Chuck, I like the new sculpture a lot. It's got a nice balance and flow. What did you use to make the custom pain job? It almost looks like like colors you get from head. Pretty cool looking effect.

Is it paint or a patina of some sort?
I sure wish it was photographed with some homogeneous background (like the ocean) so we could really get it's three dimensionality.Nice work !

Hi Chuck, welcome back, although I must say that ArtMetal is going through a stagnant period, people aren't commenting on the work....seems like the past ArtMetalists are in hiding...
Anyway, I like this piece and you are progressing in your designs and forms...we all would like to see an unobstructed photo, just put it on the front lawn or something....Keep creating, it's what we all do!!!! SteelyJan

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome back!
Hell, I didn't even think I actually posted. I was having a lot of issues that night.(J.D.)
Anyway... The paint job comes out from my twisted imagination. I have a concept in mind, but I go with the flow while painting. Hey if it looks Cool I'm stoked!! "Then again maybe it's the paint fumes going to my head." I haven't worn a mask in 30 yrs. I've inclosed a few pic's that might help with viewing the piece.
Yes, my Photography sucks but I am getting better.
I do view what goes on in the site periodically. I know what you mean Jan. Looks like people are afraid to commment.
It's a shame with some of the outstanding work that is posted on this site.
I haven't because I tend to be a little to direct. I never EVER want to be offensive.
I like feedback. Good or Bad. (Rich I promise to try to play well with others.) LOL

Thanks for the extra pictures, Chuck! I can appreciate it even more now that I can really see it. I didn't even notice the ball in it before, for example. I like it all - a lot.

The triangular base was an excellent concept, too. Somehow that base really sets the piece off without being a distraction. I think you pulled it all together with this one. I'm willing to bet that this one sells pretty darn quickly.

Chuck, okay I will make a comment, seems like I am one of the few who still does around here, I like to see others comments too.
Any how it really looks great, colors are better than I thought. That gallery you are at sure does like the bright colored things, I mean in the back ground. Keep up the good work and I hope you get a good price for it.

Thanks for commenting. You have always given me some really great feedback.
I agree, about people on the site commenting or lack there of so to speak.
There are a lot of very talented people on this site I would love to hear from.
Comments are always welcome, Good and Bad.

Cutting to the Chase, "You know me I Love Color."
It is hard for me to Rust everything I do. And as you can see from the Gallery they offer every kind of eclectic Art.
Things are starting to pick up here as far as Sales. I'm hoping someone will take an intrest in my work as well.

The base was a fluke actually.
I was going to make a Cube. But I didn't have enough steel on hand. Money is tight right now. So I came up with this solution. It works well I think?
Making the Ball appear then disapear depending on the viewing point was part of the plan.
Boy, do I hope your right about a quick sale.
It would help me a out a great deal.
