Techniques, flower foldforming. hummingbirds raising. all hammerwork, they begin as hyperbolic paraboloids each of the three elements began as a flat square sheet of copper 22 gauge. The copper wires may get forged before I show it to anyone else. The base is a small slab of granite. Hope you enjoy Brad

speaking of colors...

Very pretty fire painting on the copper! It's got that raku look. Thanks for sharing them, Cassandra

raku

Cassandra,
Let's not have any of that pottery talk here. While I liked the coloring, I felt that the forms suffered because they were broken up too much. I pickled the pc this morning and forged the wires. Changed the placement a little, Now the piece takes on the look of a flame from a distance, Then becomes more interactive. I've had these elements floating around the bench for quite a while. It feels good to get them in the air to see if the relationshps work. Sometimes you just keep planishing until you're done, Brad
