Half my pieces are commissioned and half are made on speculation (like this one). My house and property are so filled with one-offs for sale ,I have to sprinkle some select businesses in the area with the products of my creative mind just to find a safe place to store them...I'm at what might be termed a prolific stage in my career,hehehe.
This piece is in a bathroom fixtures showroom in Petaluma,Ca. owned by a somewhat eccentric contractor.He said flat out he couldn't sell the piece,"because it was too radical"...LOL No matter,sooner or later the right client will find it. Everything I make sells eventually,sometimes it just takes longer than other times...
