Spun Stainless Steel Sink

This is one of my stainless steel(11ga.) round sinks in its surface mount configuration.
It is spun as a flat round disk on an industrial lathe, then forced while spinning over a form with a hand tool. The striated concentric marks are from the tool.
It was designed primarily for a high use lavatory as stainless requires the least amount of maintenance and stands up to heavy abuse.
The foot is welded on from beneath hiding the welds from view. Surface mount configurations offer an alternate way of using a sink and provide for a unique visual featuring more of the shape than would be seen in a flush mount...
