Branching Out Railing : connection

Branching Out Railing : connection

My connection from upper to down staircase matches perfectly. Welding will have to be done on site. Trying not to have too much welding as the house is finished. Hate making a mess in a beautiful space... so tricky even with fire proof drop clothes...SteelyJan38

I feel really out of line

I feel really out of line offering any advice to someone with your skills, Jan, but.......

When I've had to do welding on site and needed to protect surrounging areas I've used heavey duty aluminum foild and
basically made a tent around the area to be welded. I leave just enough of an opening to get my gun in and move/mold the tent around as needed.

Neutiquam erro.

That is just the sort of job

That is just the sort of job where it's nice to have one of the new inverter TIG welders. Neat clean welds with NO spatter or smoke and very minimal clean-up grinding. Some of the new inverter TIGs will even run on any supply from 110v to 380 volts, sensing the supply voltage automatically.

Tig

Hi Jan,

Tig is the way to go, complete control & so clean, these HF inverters are the future, I seldom use anything else.

Love your work.
