Ralph E Sharp - Sunday, November 7, 2010 - 7:29amArchitectural Gallery | backsplash | copper
This was a commission that came in 5 different panels. This is the center panel and is about 5 feet wide and 3 feet tall. It's hammered copper, wrapped around 1/4 inch plywood, that was annealed and tne fire scale gently removed to reveal the natural colors underneath. It was coated with Krylon clear coat that works extremely well in preserving it and also makes the colors "pop". I also made the fixture plates. The fixtures were later changed from white to brown.
