Paula, I major in Plant

Paula, I major in Plant Science (Viticulture),so watching your work it took me right to my school years, work in a vineyard, Sonoma, Sacto. Delta Area, and the Napa Valley. Your copper-steel leaves are gorgeous. Do you plasma cut the basic shapes or make those identations cutting in with grinder? Lovely texture and shapes. Hope to post my grape vine bottle rack in process. nelson.

partially right

Thanks Nelson,
I do plasma cut them out but use a cross pean hammer and a few repousse/chasing tools to vine them.

Nice

Paula,
Very nice gate, some excellent hammer work on the posts and the vines are fantastic. Oh year great leaves too!

How do yo get so much texture on the vines?

Little giant power hammer

Larry, hubby, made a die for me to use in one of our power hammers. Basically he took some flat bar (two of them for upper and lower), ground in some grooves with a cutting wheel and then made them for a spring die....then i heat the stock and run it through the die, turning it while its hot....easy.

We recently purchased a Striker air hammer and have a couple of little giants to sell, know of anyone that would be interested?
