Dragonfly Panel Complete

Hi Everyone,
I am up at my studio for this whole week and I hope to get the bulk of the work done on this commission. Finished this panel.Feeling good about the progress.

Just like to say how nice the panel is there are some lovely lines in the design. Are you filling the wings of the dragon fly with anything? They would look great with some stained glass maybe

Adrian, actually I am having glass cut for the wings of the dragonflies. It will be an irridescent green glass. The finish will be a bronze tone paint with some highlighting. I'll keep you posted. had a great day in the studio.Plasma cut the first panel for the porch. Those dragonflies I hope to put stained glass with veins in. I'll post some pictures tomorrow. I'm burnt out...but in a good way. it's wine o'clock!!!! Janet R.

There is so much movement in this piece and i like the way the dragonflies fly through the centre.

Hi Janet, The dragonfly panels look great. The waves and spirals really do create a lot of motion. I can almost see the dragonflies zooming in and out. You did a nice job filling in the "empty space" for the 4" rule, it doesn't look cluttered at all. The green glass in the wings will just make it even better. Nice work!
