Wow! Thanks Everyone

Wow! Thanks Everyone

Thanks for all the positive feedback....this was such a loose...(crappy) sketch . But it did get the idea across. Here's a detail of a table I did with the dragonflies I'll be making . Even the cut out in the plates will have alot more detail. I am always a little nervous when starting a new job! Angst...does anyone else experience that? Janet R.

Nice detail, visuals like

Nice detail,
visuals like that help a client see past a sketch.

But the sketch is quite nice, it has a lot of life in it.

Hehe....not only angst, but

Hehe....not only angst, but evasion too. I usually spend months wondering what the heck I've gotten myself in to, if I've quoted enough, will it work, am I capable of doing the job, will the customer like the final result and....is there enough chocolate in the cupboard (well...that last one is a continuous concern).

Strangely enough, after all the worrying, when I finally start on the job and get in to the "zone" it flows quite well and so far the customers havnt been spitting on me.

PS...are those bodies "purchased" fence tops? I tried using those for bug bodies once. Yours look much more effective than mine did at the time. I love the way each tail attaches to another dragon fly. It makes the piece flow.
