WOW NICE WORK

Giusseppe,

Your flowers are really great; you have beautiful movement and texture going on in the pieces and it gives me the itch to go into the studio for an all night art session.

Hi Giusseppe, Nice looking

Hi Giusseppe,
Nice looking flowers, they will look great once electropolished. Your work is very inspiring, specially those rainbow colors you achieve on your forged SS. Some time back, I considered setting up an electropolishing tank for small to medium work. Where I live, nobody does that, only galvanizing, Ni, and other industrial applications, but nothing with SS. What is your view on such DIY set up if I could get my hands on an electric current rectifier....? Your input is perhaps of the best I could get to make up my mind as to pursue or forget about making the process tank. Thanks, Nelson.

nasty chemicals

the biggest issue is disposing of the chemicals.
after a lot of fooling around with the help of a company that used a small tank I reached the conclusion that it is far less headache to leave it to others
if you are really stuck then try to obtain some used chemicals from a large polisher ..... fresh stuff is too brutal to experiment with ....

Hi Giusseppe, Yes I`m aware

Hi Giusseppe,
Yes I`m aware dealing with strong acids or bases require CAREFUl handling. Your advise is good to reinforce the idea even further. Now, my inquiry points more towards the current rectifier capacity, lets say size of that devise in lay man terms. What range of current or any other electric variable should, the rectifier be able to handle to electropolish small pieces; namely 1/2" rod... Thanks so much and hope I`m not bugging too much. Nelson-
