Thanks Janet, they did want that color. It is a high traffic area and wanted a finish that would stand up to it. Stainless was too expensive and flashy, so they opted for this weathered brown powder coat. It is kind of evenly mottled, which you can't see in the picts, and really does give off a weathered/rust like appearance. The problem is that it is even all over which isn't very natural looking. Once I get a bigger shop I really hope to experiment with some different finishes. Jake » reply |

You come up with the wildest concepts for railings. This one is definetely different! Did they want that color?
I would love to see it with some interesting coloration to make the elements stand out. It's brillant! Congratulations!
