Thanks Ashokmanu, I've been trying to organize my thoughts about the "good basics of ornamental metal work" and have been haveing trouble finding a way to make it concise. Is there a specific area in ornamental work that you are interested in first? It would make answering your request a little easier.

This is one of favorite railings you've done.
I really like the wave feel to it.
Easy on the eye but a great deal of movement.
