This is a gate that was built and installed that will allow the owners to let their dogs run free in the yard.
This view is from the carport. It's what they see when they come home. The gate swings both ways and has a simple weighted latch.
The land and sun are copper over wood. The patina on the bottom was done with a sulphiric acid wash brushed on and left to dry.
All the copper has a coat of boiled linseed oil applied to preserve it. The rest of the gate is made of stainless steel and is MIG welded together.
