I have made some small bowls and wall sculptures using this technique as well as using chain link, Just ball it up get it hot an whack it! Simple yet effective.

I would like you to share a piture of the bowl you made.

I'm working a lot in sheet rather than stock, could you forgeweldweld it together into sheet? If that works you could combine it with paternwelding mokume/damascus sheet using diferent metals and alloys. just a thought. I might play with it.
