Non Specific Critter

Non Specific Critter

Again the sort of thing I don't do often... I think the inspiration may have come from the schmoos in Al Capp's 'Little Abner' This guy amused the neighbors for quite a while but now will serve exclusively in a yard in Galveston.

Stork

Stork

Stork made for a neighbor. Small air compressor tank became the body. Three sizes of rebar for lega and feet. Steam pipe from a really old rail car became the neck. Odd little metal piece - machine tool part of some sort - became the head. Wings are rebar and perforated steel.

Steel Pasta

Steel Pasta

When I looked at my pile of these little steel squiggles I was thinking of pasta ( was I hungry ) so I made a serving of pasta. Size is 11" in diameter and 9" in height. The piece weighs 77 lbs.
