Page three is where the fun begins; I was able to use all types of resources to beat the lizard into shape and still use all of the different metals.

Page two is patina red to represent heat. No idea on why a lizard, but it just sprang out from the metal I started welding. The shape of the lizard was meant to be boring and kind of ugly. The lizard is made by using different uses of heat.

Page one is where the recipes start. The pieces of metal are at their bare color. The flower does not represent anything; it was just a way to arrange the pieces of different metals. The sheet of

On the cover is a sterling silver mixing bowl with a little torch and hammer for the heat and beat support.
The cover is 11 gauge sheet metal with a Birchwood Casey patina. The book is the size of a large three ring binder. The pages are copper and notebook size.

Here is my book that I was motivated to create because of the interest of some great folks from this site. When it was suggested that we make a book for the Shindig it really did not interest me too much. But one day there was a cooking show on TV. The lady said to take the ingredients, heat and beat. Well I said to myself I do that with metal. So the idea of making my “Metal Recipes” book for the Shindig was triggered.
