Where the Railing meets the next section

So now the challenge will be meeting the bend on the downstair railing, our template was quite accurate. Without a forge this is not fun!

New Railing: Entitled: Branching Out

New Railing: Entitled: Branching Out

Well, phase 1 of my railing commission was installed this Sunday! Eight more pieces to go. But this one was the largest and the one I had to work out my design, seems like it took forever! I feel the next pieces will go much faster and smoother. Making templates from plywood really, really works! The next piece is framed and we took it over and it matches pretty well.

WTC Memorial: Sculptural bases

This is for Jake, here is a photo from the unveiling on 9/10 / 11, on the eve of the 10th year anniversary of that horrific event. I was honored to be a part of this community effort, the entire park was funded by private contributions!

Railing Commission Finally taking shape

Railing Commission Finally taking shape

Hi ArtMetalists!

I guess I haven't been on for a while. I received a commission this spring for 10 sections of railings for dear friends. I started in the early part of the summer, but then
left for Croatia for a month, came back to a commitment of designing and building the sculptural towers to hold the WTC I-Beam for the town memorial park, etc....
