McNally Pot Rack

This is a custom pot rack that I completed last week. It is in the shape of a "J". The clients loved it and the install went with out a hitch. You gotta love that when it happens. :)

Two 8x10 foot grills, sandwiched together with 1/2 inch plate glass in between. Glass finished with rice grain etching. The panels had to be closely up against the glass so one of them had to be put together bacwards making it hard to get the design tow flow properly without half the elements on the layout(floor) at the same time.

Commission for restaurant on river in Bluffton,SC.Consists of major piece, two grilles sandwiching 1/2 inch plate glass with etched rice grain textur. Water forged from 2 1/2 in.x1/2 inch flat mild steel, coal forge,power hammer.

A restaurant on the river in Bluffton, SC a place you only want to go to in the summer if you have AC.This piece was a challenge because it is in two parts , one on either side of a half inch plate glass with an etched ricegrain surface.

The restaurant with the most work of mine in Atlanta, One walks alongside this piece from the front door to the host station. Its about 14 feet long and was designed to fit the existing curve.

I guess the upside of that way would be the ease of repeating the radius more consistantly. The downside being once the scrolls are welded togeather they no longer fit in my forge.
