Console Table Bracing

To form the bracing and infill for the console tables, I have laid out on my work table the pattern which I will use as a template to make the decorative molding and infill. I also make a temporary jig which I will use to hot bend the molding to. This way I am able to get a consistent form for the bracing.	The decorative molding for the console tables is made up of forged rebar with upset ends and sandwiched between two pieces of flat bar with scrolled ends. This forms an accent detail at the ends of the bracing where they will later be welded to the table legs for lateral support.
