This is an inside view of the custom made driveway gates for the Von Ehr residence. The shimmering stainless steel sunset acts as a background for the patinated bronze forground landscape. Even the armadillos stand out in the center of the gates. Note the operator housing casing on the lower left. This hydraulic mechanical operator is used to slide the driveway gates towards the left of the driveway when opening. On the right side of this entry is an additional pedestrian gate which allows pedestrian traffic without having to open the twenty foot driveway gate. |
