For myself I find that twittering is more about keeping those informed with day to day updates, such as (ex.) "Ring Of Armor was accepted for a tutorial Article in Art Jewelry Magazine."
It's a status up-date that you can post instead of a blog. The audience can be anyone who is in business to those who like your work, or those who do similar work. It's an easy way to keep others updated without a long blog. You just "Tweet" it. You can choose to follow others tweets and they can follow your tweets.
You could do one for ArtMetal to draw others to this site, or to your Creators Dream site. It's great for when you have made up-dates to your site...
