I agree with Marilyn, you don't want the background to distract from the main event. If you really feel the need for texture back there try something subtle. Also give it one last pickle, brass brush it then if you want apply a patina. The blotchy firescale makes it a little hard to see what's going on. I like the design quite a bit. Claudia
