Monique 4

Have been busy on another project but last week I attended a regional MetalMeet at Dutch Comstock's shop in upstate NY and while there I spent considerable time working on Monique.

Spent most of my time working on Monique's shoulders and back. LOTS and LOTS of shape! LOTS!

The front shoulder above the breasts is one piece,

the lower back is one piece below the waist and the upper back is two pieces split up the middle.

Shoulder blades, muscle tone, vertabrae....SHAPE! Lots and LOTS of SHAPE!

Still have a little metalfinishing to do but I'm really pleased. Trust me, as far as metalshaping goes, this makes fenders seem easy!

I did the flexible pattern for the head but didn't get any further. The face will be done with reposse' techniques as soon as I figure it out. I've got a pitch pot and some tools but I'm a rank amature to this type of shaping.
