"Sydney Menorial"

This piece really moved me to nearly tears, so i will share it. It has 645 sea gulls made from stainless steel which represent the number of lives lost when the ship Sydney sunk with all hands from a gun battle with a German raider ship off the WA coast in WW2. It is truely a very well exicuted work, wish I could say who the artist is but unknown to me at present. The photo was taken just as the sun was comming up over the hills and has a warm glow about it. Hope you all find it interesting.
Cheers Michael.
