finally back rto some metal!

My daughter is in a Greek studies class and asked me to help her make an olive leaf wreath. Because I had some from the roses I make we chose copper. We silver soldered the leaf shape to some wire. Then drilled a piece of tube and soft soldered the wire into the tube to anchor the leaf. For a quick effort it did not turn out too bad. The bes tpart was finally getting a torch into her hands. Next step will be welding!!!

Comments welcome. I would have cleaned it in pickle but she liked the look and wanted it left with the heat discolor.
