I just got back from a road trip with my day job so now I have a little time to respond. Thanks all for the wows.
Thanks Nelson yep lots of patience and trying, what makes the mind work and that’s way I like it. Might be a while before finished too many other things in life.
Peter G thanks for the Wow.
And Matt thanks too, yep about the weld and grind, ole sheet metal does not take much grinding to go thru.
Rob thanks and if you were a fly make sure to wear your ear protection (all of the swearing going on) and you must wear your welding goggles.
Kimberly, thanks too and between the toes too many ways to get there, mostly a little ¼ inch air angle grinder and then the flex shaft too and long with a little 1 inch belt grinder. Note for you I used my O/A instead of the MIG so I can better control the deposit of the weld. warren http://www.metalrecipes.com
