I am pretty much just going on instinct here. I am not sure what the difference is between the inverter model and this one.
I read lots of reviews, asked lots of questions and followed my gut. (in more ways than one)
I did look at the Lincoln welders also. I have both in the studio now. ( the lincoln is a AC 225 tombstone) I also built my first with the DC version. The big tipping point was when I took the print out from Cyberweld to the Miller dealer and not only was the Miller about 1 grand cheaper but the dealer matched the online price. So take another $300 off the tag.
After that it was cover my eyes and hand over the card.
After using it for a while I just love it. Have a lot to learn about tiging but I am enjoying the challenge.
