For what its worth, don't get involved with any art for business type organisations ...they will limit your freedom in the long run and will give an image of you and your work that might be quite different from what you want. They also charge commission...

There is no harm in making some of your work for hire .... it gives you exposure and a good sense of how the market is moving.

Unless you have made a site specific piece it also allows you to see your work in different settings which generally broadens your perspective.

Whether you sell your babies or just rent them out .... we are all tarts anyway ...
