here is a wattle theme that I used throughout a village in Germany
This village is typical of the area in that it has grown out of reclaimed land from the sea.Over hundreds of years houses were built upon the remains of old ones, so the present settlement is on a bump in the otherwise flat landscape.
When digging the foundations for a new building the old wattle was exposed several feet down ....this was the inspiration for the fencing.wattle1wattle2wattle3
