 What I made this weekend, just playing around. It's a bit of a dribble cup, but I like it.Copper Goblet: What I made this weekend, just playing around. It's a bit of a dribble cup, but I like it. This cup and the flower begin the same way. It's a named form called a helstad cup in fold forming terms. To make it begin with a circle if you like . fold it in half. crease it. fold it in half again. Result is a triangle shape.. Run the pointy end through your rolling mill... Getting deep forms for me is a similiar process to tapering a wire on the mill. Annealing the copper often helps me. Unfolding can be a challenge. Brad Goblet is two cups. flower one
