The original fireplace screen was an actual insert. Here's a link to a photo of it and the original commission in 1995. It's interesting how the Internet has changed over the years and the benefits we all get from this new communications tool.

The client had seen the original and wanted a copy of it except that he wanted a free-standing screen instead of the insert. I see both of them as being "one-of-a-kind" for the reason that each element is hand forged and not cast, plus the evident functionality.
