Gears

Frank-
The gears are only a comment to the implied industrial feel to the piece. Originally, the gears were going to be a working mechanism, in which all 3 gears would rotate. The rotating gears would in turn be attached to the fins creating more movement into the piece. The gears would be connected by small link chain or as simple as a rubber o-ring.

But time constraints and budget prohibited that approach. But if there was more time, I thought it would create a more inter-active piece.

Soooooooo - no spin!
