Help, my mig's dead!

If you read my last post you'll know my mig's committed suicide to spite me 'cos I bought a new tig and thought I didn't love it any more.
I'm guessing there's a million different thigs it could be, and half of them are not fixable, and the other half not fixable by me...but there's some clever folks here, and the inside of this beast doesn't look so complicated so any ideas ?
It's a 160amp Cebora "taskmaster" and wasn't in the first flush of youth when I bought it a couple of years ago. Was working fine yesterday, but today it blows the fuse in the plug a split second after I press the trigger, whether I strike an arc or not.
Ive taken the side off, brushed, hoovered and blown the dust out of it ( which was overdue I confess) and there's no obvious signs of arcing, overheating or general unpleasantness down there.
Of course I could take it to an engineer - but new stuff's so cheap(if you haven't just bought a tig) and labour costs so high that getting stuff fixed is as impractical as throwing it away is unpalatable... dohmig gutsmig guts
