What you are asking for is not an artist- its a skilled fabricator.
Now, granted, some of the people here are both.
Many of us make a portion of our living doing fabrication for others for money.
But it had better be good money.
Otherwise, we will do our own art.
So, to get this done properly, expect to pay well. Do not assume that artists work cheap- in fact, the best artists I know charge significantly more than a neighborhood welding shop, and rightly so, as they are much more skilled, have more diverse skills, and can think as well.
All that said, this is probably not something you want to have somebody who lives 3000 miles away do for you, unless you are willing to pay top dollar for the best, in which case shipping becomes a small part of the job.
I often do commissions that I ship across the country, but usually not for less than $50,000 or so. (This is not the kind of job I would take on, as I am too busy on my own stuff, luckily).
So first, you would need to say where you are.
Second, what materials, processes, and techniques?
You dont need to give away your super secret design, but aluminum or stainless, machined or cast or welded?
If you dont know then you need a designer as well as fabricator- which cuts down on your field of possibles even more.
I would imagine there are a few guys who specialise in this- magicians propmakers, and so on. And I am sure they are not cheap, either.
I know a couple, who might lead you to others- The Great Nippulini, for example, whose act is somewhat self explanatory, involving lifting anvils.
He makes some props for various sideshow acts around the world- he is a blacksmith and metalworker, with experience in the piercing industry, and makes giant nails for "blockhead" acts among other things.
Anyway, he might know a good person for you- you can reach him at
