As you move along in your work with metals, you will find that the folks here area very helpful with questions about process, equipment, sources of materials etc. I am on the very NW Coast (WA peninsula)so no idea of soap stone sources on the East Coast. I am sure you will hear from somebody, but if not or even if you do hears of sources, anther list you might put this question to is:
