Paper mill trash turned into artifact

This piece is a lot like Chamberlain's found object art. First, find an interesting object in the raw, then invest some (or a lot of) energy into it and turn it into a monument to technology's waste. That is the basis of the art of recycled materials.

This was a great find in that it has an amazing variety of novelty in its chaotically twisted form. The highly polished finish invests it with both energy and the value of that invested energy. It becomes valuable partly because of that, but there's more;

It is now an original piece of found and manipulated art. You should consider doing a series. Polishing is not necessary. Simple cleaning and a superb paint or plating job would probably fill the bill. I can easily imagine a series in all the colors of paint and plating possible. Good work. You certainly scored with this one!
