I like your use of cold connections to get round the problem of attaching different metals, and rivets can be tricky so good job.  Like Elizabeth said , you could explore further different ratios of one metal to another by switching things around and also changing the scales of things, maybe bigger cross with smaller end pieces or blow the end pieces up huge so they really dominate.  Anyway, great first piece, will look forward to seeing more!
