Thanks to everyone for the kind remarks! It's a pleasure to share with the artmetal community my metal art. I hope it is okay to give a general response to all of you who have commented so far instead of thanking each of you. The intent here is actually to thank each of you.
Bill, you asked a particular set of questions so I will reply to them. The chandelier is actually right at eight feet in diameter and thirty inches tall. The extension to the ceiling which is not shown on the video is an additional nine feet in length. This makes the overall height a bit over eleven feet in height. The estimated weight for the main chandelier is 200 pounds.
I'm in the process now of communicating with the client to see how we are going to deliver it. I was amazed at the price that I got back from Bax Global - an airplane shipper! I don't trust the overland trucking companies due to my past experience with them destroying ironwork that I thought could not be destroyed. So it may be that I will be taking a small cross country road trip to Arizona to deliver and help install the chandelier. Needless to say that I will use the trip to take some vacation time and visit sites and folks on the way back. I think this trip may be something good for growth and enjoyment.
Once things settle a bit I will finish off the series on making the chandelier. I have lots of video footage going into the details of the LED wiring, welding, and finishing. More will come...
