Once had a good friend that wanted a two inch hole in a half inch piece of steel. He asked me how to do the job I suggested out-sourcing we had no drill press or bits to do the job right. I heard him in his shop for most of the day. Once in a while I'd hear a thud a door slam mostly I heard him working. Evening came,it got dark. I couldn't take it any more, I went over. He had just finished "drilling" his two inch hole. HE had used up two quarter inch drills and 25 drill bits. He wanted to know how many of these plates we needed. I kept that one for a long time. I had a machine shop make four. He became a very good friend. Thing is he showed me something that day. He showed me that technique wasn't everything that the equipment wasn't all that important. If you had enough *want-to* you could do. My friend had shown me more want to than I'd seen in years. I have alot of respect for that. It does my heart good when someone is told that large cat urine is rumored to make a light blue patina. If they can't figure out that the prime ingredient is urea and that Miraclegrow plant food is mostly urea. Oh well. I will post the telling pic fri. Brad
