Spread yourself around. You never know what will happen. It could be miraculous.

Money Makers

One of the things we really need to remember is to not limit ourselves. Anything is possible. The more you put out there, the more comes back to you. And sometimes it is in ways we least expect. When selling online, it is such a broad net of, well, the net, that it can come at you from anywhere.

A small thing happened to me today that really reflected and reinforced my awareness of that. I received an email from someone at a pet rescue society asking for permission to reproduce a poem I had written about losing your pet. One, I am thrilled that she liked it enough to want to reproduce it. Two, I love that she was respectful enough to ask permission. Three, I am thankful it is going to be helpful for me to get my name out. All I asked for in return was that she give me and my website credit. And tomorrow I intend to write about her rescue cause in my blog. And it all gets bigger and grows and grows. And I get to give back to her, because she is giving to me. And in the end, maybe another dog or cat will get saved, and I will create more work making pet urns for me or one of my other artists (you know who you are...)

The web really can be a big family. And the more we stay in the state of helping others, the more it will come back to us. And the more the small business person can win! I am up against costco (costco selling pet urns?) in google, and we keep switching back and forth, who is ahead, who is behind, but I am determined that I will get ahead, and stay that way, by the end of the week.(So if anyone wants to link to my site in an effort to have Davey win over Goliath, please do!) Then again, who ever thought I, me, Alex, would be up against a corporate giant . And be fearless and unworried...

Alex
