Hi, this sculpture's base which is an abstract tree is 1/8"rusted steel with wax to hold the color the nest is bronze rods, the birds in the nest are made of various sizes of welding rods with the one bird holding the bronze worm the sculpture is six and a half feet tall and five feet in diameter all the birds are removable thank you for looking at my art work................................................bob
