ArtMetal

I just added a new block feature to the ArtMetal web site. It's entitled "View Timeline" and is listed in the lower right hand column of the site. It's really cool and I'm hoping it will be useful to the ArtMetal community. What it does is makes a timeline of the latest blog posts from ArtMetal members and also lists the latest Flickr photo uploads with either the "blacksmith" tag or the "sculpture" tag. I tried to narrow the sculpture tag to be relevant to metal sculpture, but I was unable to implement this request via the 30 Boxes interface. Seems they haven't implemented the new "clusters" implementation at Flickr.com.

I'd love to hear what you all think about this new feature. Actually, if you are interested in getting your own calendar or create a timeline using other rss/xml feeds from other web sites, you can do this by going to http://www.30boxes.com. I think it's real cool being able to see what's going on with related interests throughout the web!
