Canned Peas

Yet another self-taught welding experience. Having read that acetylene smells similiar to "garlic", I thought I might(should) take a gentle whiff. Hmmm. No, not garlic at all. A strange, foreign odor, like Venusian flatulence perhaps. But immediately afterward, by pure chance, I sniffed an open can of peas from the 'fridge. YIKES... very similiar.

Oh and apparently very hot steel has an scent also. That's interesting.
