That's a good question because those types of books are hard to find. My collection of books is in storage right now so I can't find the two or three that I have at the moment. Oppi Untracht's book on metalworking has an excellent section in it on metal spinning but I have forgotten the title of his book right now. Perhaps someone else can help on this, it's a well known book and maybe Amazon Books can find a copy for you. Another source for other books might be Lindsay Publications (815) 935-5353, I don't know if they have a web site or not. Try the search engines and see if you can come up with anything. This is not a popular subject and I don't think there are many current books on metal spinning. Most likely the books available are out of print but might be found by bookfinders. There are a couple of services available that might be helpful. Again try the search engines for a company that will do this service for you. Try searching bookfinders. Unfortunately there are more and more processes that are being done by automation now so some of the old handworking techniques are becoming lost. It has become more difficult to find reference material relating to some of these things. Sometimes the only recourse we have is to try and locate out of print books or find craftspeople who are continuing these traditions. Chris Ray
