Secure the sheet metal to a table(or get someone to hold it with
about a 1/4" hangin' off the table. Take a fine flat file at a 45 degree angle to the corner till there are no visible "burrs"
Flip the the sheet over and repeat the process to the other side.
Feel along the edge lightly to find any remaining burrs. Do not
drag yer dirt diggers along the edge until you are resonably sure you have removed all burrs. For a smoother edge yet,take an
ordinary sharpening stone and glide it over the edge,working it at different angles to insure the corners are in fact"without burrs". Hope this helps ...you sheetmetalmonstermonkey
